Reader, If you read my last email (if you missed it you can read it here), you know I was in a pretty low place. Shutdown, overwhelmed, checked-out… all the things. And if you’ve ever been there too, you know how heavy it can feel. May I share what the next part has looked like for me? Not as some big inspirational moment, but in that real, slow, human way things actually shift. The first thing I noticed was… a little bit of energy coming back. Not enough to do anything wild, just enough to function. Enough to breathe a little deeper. Enough to feel like, okay, I’m not drowning anymore. I ended up going to the gym. Not to crush a workout or be productive. Just to release some of the energy that had been stuck. And honestly… it helped. More than I expected. And then, I started letting go of things I’ve held onto for years. Old clothes, old versions of myself, old energy....grief I didn’t realize I was still carrying. And that’s really the point, isn't it? When you give yourself space and stop forcing. You start coming back to yourself — piece by piece, breath by breath, moment by moment. And I want you to know: if you’ve been in a season like the one I described last time… this part is possible for you too. This is exactly the kind of support and nervous system work I teach inside The Embodied Shift Method — how to understand what’s happening in your body and how to actually move through it without shame or pressure. I’m not giving details just yet, but something special is coming next week. Haley P.S. I’m genuinely curious — what’s your #1 struggle when it comes to regulating your nervous system and actually shifting out of the patterns that keep you stuck? If you feel open to sharing, hit reply and tell me. I read every message, and your insight helps me keep creating things that actually support you in real life. |
Reader, I didn’t write a blog post last week. Could I have? Absolutely.Do I have one ready to go? Yep.Could I have scheduled one in advance and checked the box? Also yes. But it didn’t feel aligned for me. Something I’ve noticed about the way I like to share is that most of my content comes from what I’m experiencing in the moment. When I try to force it ahead of time just to stay “consistent,” it starts to feel less real. Less connected. And last week, I was in the salon a lot. New salon...
Hi Reader, I wanted to pop into your inbox a little differently this week. Normally I’m sharing a weekly blog post, but this is the week I'm in the salon. I have barely opened laptop because my energy has been focused on hair, conversations in the chair, and being fully present there. So this is me giving myself permission to not do all the things all the time — and to not beat myself up for it because I’m human. And right now, this is where my energy is meant to be. There will be a blog post...
Hi Reader, Do you ever wake up and feel like your mind is already running ahead of you?Last week, this came up more than once in client conversations and I knew I needed to share it with you too. I wrote a blog post about this practice because it's supportive, especially from a nervous system and subconscious perspective. I share why it works, how I suggest doing it in a way that feels gentle and doable, and what to expect when resistance shows up because let's be real, sometimes it does. If...
